Old Enough to See Hank: If you move to Nashville to become something other than a musician, it’s to become Craig Havighurst. He’s a writer, a multi-media producer, the show journalist for Music City Roots, and the music news producer of WMOT Roots Radio 89.5, an NPR affiliate dedicated to Americana and the Nashville music scene. He’s the host of The String and the author of Air Castle of the South, WSM and the Making of Music City. In episode 26 of The Path to Authenticity, Craig talks about the origins of his love for music and recounts the progression of his career in music journalism. You’ll also hear his take on the new Ken Burns documentary on the history of country music as well as his next book.  To learn more about the Craig, click here. Visit tomgentry.net.
